Project Officer
Newcastle United Foundation is looking to recruit a Project Officer to join our team.

Job Summary
Newcastle United Foundation is a delivery partner for King’s Trust Team. Team is a 14-week personal development programme for 16 to 25 year olds. Its primary aim is to build confidence, motivation and skills to help unemployed young people return to education or move into employment.

Information for Candidates

Interviewees are required to bring proof of ID to the first interview (valid passport OR birth certification and NI card) along with proof of right to work in the UK (if applicable). ID documents must be original, photocopies will not be accepted.

The Foundation takes safeguarding very seriously and adheres to strict guidelines, policies and procedures when recruiting staff. Where it is identified that staff may work with children and/or adults at risk of harm, it is committed to ensuring staff are vetted appropriately, as permitted by law, before their employment. Such vetting may include, but is not limited to, criminal records checks, identity checks, references and employment histories. It is also committed to ensuring staff receive appropriate safeguarding training suitable to their job role/s.

This engagement is therefore subject to attaining acceptable pre-employment checks and meeting any other condition stipulated by law. Where Criminal Records Checks are required these will be undertaken by the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) on behalf of the Foundation.
